Behind the Mask

Its  amazing how sometimes we forget that God is truth and he sees right through us and far beneath whatever we pretend to be. Our lord can trial us and show us how strong we are and sometimes all we see is the trial,the sufffering and the pain. God has been trying to show us who we are and who we must become for centuries and I think its about time we start paying attention. Under our professed bravery, wisdom, integrity and even humor Christ knows that at times we are nothing more than scared little children. He sees us when we cry, when we crumble and fall apart behind closed doors  in the shadows of night. He Knows our doubts , fears and concerns and sees 'us' clearer than we see ourselves. Therefore brethren, let us stop pretending and surrender ALL to Christ and have faith that he will do what he says he would. Let us take off our Masks to Christ that he may transform us into his image and care for us like only he could, washing away all our burdens, fears, doubts and insecurities. Run to the father...He is waiting!
