My Favourites

Two out of three of my favorite miracles aren't even in the New Testament. The first one is when the sun stood still for 24hrs. Found in Joshua 10:1-14, We see the Israelites fighting against the Canaanites and God wins it for them when by discomfiting their enemies, and if that was not enough Joshua, never leaving a job unfinished exercises a faith that is truly to be admired by commanding the sun to stand still in Gibeon and the moon in the valley of Ajalon. Can you imagine so much faith that you don't even ask God you just say what you want done and it is so. Such Faith! I would like to possess it someday.
The second miracle is when Sadrach, meshach and Abednego where saved from the fiery furnace. Found in Daniel 3. This one I think all young people should read because it speaks about what God can do for you when you stand up for Him. Regardless of what were the consequences they were willing to stand up for what they believed. Finally my last fav miracle is when the centurion told Jesus to speak the word only and his servant was healed in matt.8:5-13.This time it's a non believer who exercies fatih and sees his request answered. Even Jesus was amazed and said quite boldly that He had never seen such faith in Isreal. Can you imagine having a faith like that! It can be accomplished too if we surrender all and trust God to do what he says he will do.
